- Boral, Knauf Australia, Capral Aluminium and Adbri among the major names confirmed for Queensland’s only dedicated design & build show
- Exhibitors span Envelope & Façades, Structural, Foundations & Core Systems, Digital Construction & Technology, Building Services, Safety & Site Solutions and Interior Finishes & Fit-Out
- Growth reflects the scale of Queensland’s building boom, with the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and a $116.8 billion infrastructure pipeline driving demand across the state
Brisbane, Australia — 5 August 2026 — Boral, Knauf Australia, Capral Aluminium and Adbri are among the major names confirmed for Futurebuild Queensland, joining a fast-growing list of exhibitors securing floor space ahead of the show’s 10 – 11 March 2027 launch at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The pace of exhibitor confirmations reflects the scale of what’s happening across the state. Queensland is in the middle of its most active construction period, with a $116.8 billion infrastructure pipeline underway and 900,000 new homes needed across South East Queensland by 2046. The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games are accelerating investment in venues, transport and inner-city redevelopment on top of that pipeline, while population growth continues to push demand for housing across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane corridors.
For manufacturers and suppliers, that means one thing: more builders, engineers, project managers and specifiers than ever are actively sourcing products and partners for live Queensland projects.
Ash North, Event Director for Futurebuild Queensland, said exhibitors are moving quickly to be part of it.
“Queensland’s construction market is growing faster than almost anywhere else in the country and suppliers know it. When names like Boral, Knauf, Capral Aluminium and Adbri commit early, it tells the rest of the supply chain exactly where their customers are going to be. We’re seeing that translate directly into floor space filling up well ahead of the show.”
From Futurebuild Sydney to Futurebuild Queensland
Kelly Watson, National Architectural & Specifications Manager at Knauf Australia, said Queensland extends a result the business has already proven in Sydney.
“We’re exhibiting in both Queensland and Sydney next year. Queensland opens up more people for us to speak to and with the Olympic Games coming up it’s a good opportunity to connect with the local market.”
Brett Worden, Managing Director at Austaron Surfaces, said the decision to book was immediate.
“When Futurebuild Queensland was announced, my wife Belinda said it was a must-do event. With the Olympics in 2032, why wouldn’t you go there?”
Murray Davidson, Director at Freedom Retractable Screens, said the business wasn’t waiting to see how the show performed before committing.
“We’ve already booked for Futurebuild Queensland because we want to raise our profile in that space. We’ve had a great response speaking to builders at Futurebuild Australia and we’re excited to explore those opportunities in Queensland.”
Chris Loveridge, Business Development Manager at DFV Australia, said the timing was about getting ahead of where the market is heading.
“We’ve signed up for Futurebuild Queensland because the market is expanding. With the Olympics coming up, there’s a lot more going into Queensland. Futurebuild gives us great networking, great exposure and access to the target audience we’re looking for.”
Access to every part of the supply chain
Alongside the major names already confirmed, Futurebuild Queensland’s exhibitor floor is taking shape across the product sectors that builders, engineers, project managers and specifiers rely on most: Envelope & Façades, Structural, Foundations & Core Systems, Digital Construction & Technology, Building Services, Safety & Site Solutions and Interior Finishes & Fit-Out.
Exhibition space for Futurebuild Queensland is filling fast, with early exhibitors securing priority floor positions ahead of the March 2027 launch.
